Family on global expedition coming to Gloucester by Times Staff

We had perfect winds and fast sail from Portland Maine to Gloucester Massachusetts. A wonderful old wooden sloop named Jezebel escorted us into Gloucester, where our friends Lea&Jim organized a mooring in the middle of town.

Today we celebrate Halloween and prepare for tomorrows talk at the library at 7 pm.

Today Monday the 31st of October at 17:34h, 11 month Mia did her first steps at Watson’s in Gloucester. Happy Halloween!

Today Tuesday, the schooner “Thomas E. Lannon” invited us to come alongside in Gloucester Harbor. So much easier to go with all our instruments on shore to do tonight’s event at the library at 7 p.m.. It’s also a great spot to do some work on the boat; it’s getting time to do so; -last time we fixed stuff was in Honolulu.
