The light is back

Many thanks to all members who take part in the expedition. This year 16 people have already taken part. This winter there was a lot of wind and snow, so it was difficult to take samples or collect plastic. So we also used the time for indoor training. REGA emergency doctor Michael gave us a life-saving course so that we are also prepared in remote regions such as Greenland and Svalbard.

We baked lots of Grisons nut cakes for the opening of the TOPtoTOP Arcitc Base for over 50 locals. There were even sailors we met years ago, visiting us in the TOPtoTOP Arctic Base!

Noé went sailing at 45 knots (83 km/h) in a snowstorm in severe cold weather and set a new speed record. He managed 7 knots (13 km/h) upwind and 19.7 knots (37 km/h) downwind. He almost flew on the water with his Topper sailing dinghy.

Announcement: Join us for some days on a unique sailing exploration in the Arctic in May/June 2025.

Are you a musician, singer, or beat-maker passionate about collaboration and nature?

We’ll connect with the wild, create music, and show that unity across nations is possible—even in polarising times. We invite ANYONE from ANY NATION to participate. This is about co-creation: diverse musical minds coming together to shape new sounds inspired by nature and each other. No big stages—just wind, people, and music in the Arctic. We’ll end by streaming a concert of hope from a remote island, reaching out globally with the message: “Together as one and nature, we can overcome all challenges.”

By TOPtoTOP Global Climate Expedition & Cosmic Wind Cultural Collaborations, this journey blends adventure, creativity, and purpose.

Spaces are limited. Apply with a video sharing your music and motivation: wind@seashare.no. Whatsapp +47 400 28 627 for enquiries. We’ll shop locally, cook at sea, and fish along the way. Travel and food costs we try to crowdfund.
